Who We Are
Bill’s Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning serves all of Greater Cleveland as professional carpet cleaners, striving to provide the highest quality of service, superior workmanship, and eco-friendly solutions. A company founded with the goal of meeting the needs of Cleveland’s more discerning residential and commercial customers, we strive to provide the best level of carpet and upholstery cleaning in the region.
The company also has two technicians providing superior skills and experience to customers. Matt Kochman is the lead cleaning technician. He’s worked for Bill’s Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning since 2016. Mario Patete is a cleaning technician and a nephew of Daryl DiBartolo, the company owner. He’s served the company since about 2016.
A Family Owned and Operated Company
Bill DiBartolo started Bill's Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning in 1979, serving as owner and office manager. He had worked in the industry since the mid-1960s and sought to establish a new company using his knowledge and skill. Today, Daryl DiBartolo is the owner, handling the daily operations while his father still handles the office work.
Building a Team of Professional Carpet Cleaners
Bill began his adult life serving three years in the Navy. He scrubbed the decks of the aircraft carrier Intrepid and parlayed that into a career. After his service to the country, Bill worked laying carpet and handling carpet repair. He decided it was time to turn them into a viable business. He continued to build the business, located in Highland Heights on Millridge Road, for years to come.
In 2015, Bill handed down the company to his son Daryl. Daryl loved working with his father and was always a part of the business, often helping out on jobs since he was a kid. Today, he continues to work to maintain the company's reputation for being some of the best professional carpet cleaners in Greater Cleveland.

Daryl DiBartolo, Owner
Daryl grew up in the Hillcrest area throughout his entire life and is a graduate of Brush High School in South Euclid, OH. He has been married for 22 years to his wife Christy. They have 2 daughters together, Chloey and Lilianna. His hobbies include boating, traveling and occasionally hitting the links for a round of golf. Throughout his professional career, Daryl never tires from receiving happy reactions from his customers for his hard work.
Bill DiBartolo, Office Manager
Bill, the original proprietor and a Navy veteran, grew up in Cleveland Heights, OH and is a graduate of Heights High. He has been married for 34 years to his wife Claudia. They have four children and 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild. When he isn't answering phones or watching the grandchildren, he enjoys spending time at the racetrack with his nostalgic '56 Chevy dragster. After a lifetime of providing the services, Bill is happy to see the company still prospering in the family name.
